Even in the last week before Christmas, we can still work diligently on our construction site and, as a timely Christmas present, our extension will be topped off. So for once, we are looking forward to a green Christmas and will start 2017 full of vigour. With this in mind, we wish you a good start to the new year and happy holidays. The entire team at BSF Bünter AG would like to thank you for the trust you have placed in us and look forward to continuing our pleasant co-operation.

From 24 to 26 January, we will once again be showing you the benefits of additive manufacturing. At the Swiss Plastics Expo At the Lucerne Exhibition Centre, around 300 exhibitors will be showcasing their strengths in everything to do with plastics. Of course, the conformal cooling systems for injection moulding tools from BSF Bünter AG will not be missing. Visit us at stand C2079 in hall 2, we look forward to stimulating discussions with you!

Sincerely,
Kurt Graber & the BSF Team

Whoever visits our homepage or Facebook page The following already knows that there is a building site next to BSF Bünter AG. However, we have not yet officially revealed what exactly is being added to our existing company:

The extension will increase our production area at ground level, and the upper floor will be dedicated solely to additive manufacturing. We are incorporating our experience from 4 years of LaserCusing into the space planning in order to organise the work as reliably and efficiently as possible. This is how BSF Bünter AG is creating the only centre for additive manufacturing of metal in Switzerland! The residential building was demolished, the ground was levelled and the foundations were poured last week. On our Homepage and Facebook page photos of the construction progress will be published on an ongoing basis, so stay tuned and check back from time to time.

From 15 to 18 November 2016, Basel will host the Prodex / Swisstech will take place. BSF Bünter AG will also be represented at the special show "Professional 3D-Printing" in Hall 1.1 at Stand E50. Come by and be inspired by our practical components for innovative solutions in your company!

Kind regards

Here you will find the ongoing photos of our new building.

We incorporate our experience of over 4 years of LaserCusing into the spatial planning in order to make the work as reliable and efficient as possible. This is how BSF Bünter AG is creating the only centre for additive manufacturing of metal in Switzerland! The residential building was demolished, the ground levelled and the shell erected. Current status:
The work has been completed. At the end of March, the machines for 3D metal printing were moved to the upper floor, followed by some milling machines from the existing building to the ground floor in April. Finally, an attractive outdoor area was designed. We have moved in and have already settled in well.

The Rheintaler has printed a construction report from us. Have fun reading.

For 4 years now, we have been assuring you that BSF Bünter AG can generate completely dense components using additive manufacturing (3D printing of metals). But there are new applications that require exactly the opposite: Targeted porous parts. After several tests, analyses and adjustments to the process parameters, we would like to inform you that this technology is now also available at BSF Bünter AG. Possible applications are e.g. filters, vents, air vents, gas mixers or lubricant supply. We look forward to realising your own innovative ideas with you. In the spirit of our slogan "No Limits".

The Eastern Switzerland Technology Symposium will once again take place in St. Gallen on 26 August 2016. With this year's theme "Innovative SMEs - competitiveness in structural change", the BSF Bünter AG stand will of course not be missing. You too can benefit from interesting presentations in combination with an extensive exhibition. (www.technologiesymposium.ch)

To make additive manufacturing even more attractive for you, BSF Bünter AG now has 2 new materials in the Offer. Thanks to their special properties, these two new products can be used under the most difficult conditions.

CL91 RWThe stainless hot-work tool steel based on the well-known material Corrax (1.2083) is completely corrosion-resistant and can be heat-treated directly at BSF Bünter AG to a hardness of up to 50HRC and 1,600 N/mm2 yield strength.
Application: Well-known areas of application are mould making for injection moulds or general mechanical engineering with high loads.

CL120FeNiThis designation stands for an Invar powder with 36% nickel. Invar is characterised above all by its extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion. This material is not yet officially sold on the market and is therefore not yet available.
exclusively and only available from BSF Bünter AG! Thanks to a co-operation agreement with ConceptLaser, we are the only beta testers in Switzerland and one of the very first suppliers of the new Invar material in Europe.
Application: In research and development, the low expansion at temperature differences is very interesting. Be it for joining glass and steel, or for very precise measuring systems such as in a 3D coordinate measuring machine, where temperature fluctuations must not cause any errors.

BSF Bünter AG looks forward to receiving your interesting enquiries at f.graber@bsf-ag.ch.
