Almost as cool as in the Nespresso advert 😀

How we have Swissloop made a few parts for the wheel suspension. We can't wait to see how fast they will race through the tube later! 🚇 🚀

By the way: A great preparation for the final exam for our 4th year apprentices. 💪

15 years of Tanja Baumgartner!

We would like to congratulate Tanja on this company anniversary and thank her for her constant commitment.

We celebrated the handover of the business in a dignified setting as part of a company outing on 2 May 2022.

Here are a few insights:

BSF Bünter AG commissioned a high-end system for the additive manufacturing of metal at the end of 2021. The latest generation includes two lasers for faster processing and many improvements for even higher quality results.

The process monitoring in particular is unique in Switzerland:

  • Integrated thermal imaging cameras
  • Photos before and after each individual shift
  • Video recording over the entire runtime
  • Live access via webcam
  • Automatic control of the powder requirement
  • Assessment of process capability for each individual job

Now it's official!

After 20 years, Kurt Graber hands over the reins to his son Fabian Graber. The succession of the family business is thus secured. Fabian Graber has been the official managing director and co-owner of BSF Bünter AG since December.

Fabian Graber completed his apprenticeship as a design engineer and then completed his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Buchs. He has been working full-time at the company since 2015, during which time he has headed up the 3D metal printing department. Involved in decision-making right from the start, he was able to continuously take on new tasks and find his way into his new position without any time pressure.

Kurt Graber will continue to contribute his experience to the company. He will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors and will continue to be operationally active as part of the Executive Board. He will also remain strongly committed to the training of apprentices as President of the Swissmechanic St. Gallen-Appenzell section.

We have passed!

Our customers already know that we always supply high-quality parts. The fact that we have not yet been ISO certified may therefore come as a surprise to some of you. We have used the last few months to document all our processes. This formal gap has now also been closed and the continuous improvement can continue. We look forward to continuing to inspire you as existing or future customers.

Many thanks for the support to Fredy Lüchinger from fl consulting !

In August 2021, Gezim Halili celebrates his 30th anniversary with the company. We would like to thank him for his special loyalty to the company and his outstanding commitment!

Dear Business Partner

It's been a while since our last newsletter via this channel. The reason is not that we have become lazy. It's just that it's not always easy to find enough "material" for a fully-fledged newsletter. That's why, about a year ago, we started to publish the small but nice stories from our everyday life on LinkedIn to post. Why not take a look and become a follower!

Of course, you will continue to receive larger topics as newsletters.

Dear Business Partner

A challenging 2020 is slowly coming to an end. But instead of a boring coronavirus review, we'd rather give you a bang at the end:

BSF Bünter AG now also offers additive manufacturing of titanium!

In this way, we are expanding the possible uses of innovative designs in both existing and completely new sectors and areas of application. We look forward to your enquiries and challenges. We look forward to the New Year with confidence and wish everyone a Merry Christmas, good health and a speedy economic upturn.

Our doors will be closed from 23 December to 4 January.

Dear Business Partner

Our followers on LinkedIn we announced a major innovation last week. The photo shows boxes being loaded into our building by forklift. The photo was taken in the middle of the (first) corona wave in April! Since then, we have been practising the discipline of 3D coordinate measurement. Initially, the new machine was mainly used for internal inspection processes, but now some inspection reports with the corresponding parts have already been delivered to our customers.
Today we feel confident and would like to continue with the following video herald the official inclusion in the BSF Bünter AG range!

As our customer, you benefit from the following improvements:

  • Even shorter delivery times for parts with a required measurement report
  • Lower prices for measurement reports or proof of individual masses
  • No transfer of sensitive data to third-party companies
  • Continuous process monitoring
