New materials for additive manufacturing
To make additive manufacturing even more attractive for you, BSF Bünter AG now has 2 new materials in the Offer. Thanks to their special properties, these two new products can be used under the most difficult conditions.
CL91 RWThe stainless hot-work tool steel based on the well-known material Corrax (1.2083) is completely corrosion-resistant and can be heat-treated directly at BSF Bünter AG to a hardness of up to 50HRC and 1,600 N/mm2 yield strength.
Application: Well-known areas of application are mould making for injection moulds or general mechanical engineering with high loads.
CL120FeNiThis designation stands for an Invar powder with 36% nickel. Invar is characterised above all by its extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion. This material is not yet officially sold on the market and is therefore not yet available.
exclusively and only available from BSF Bünter AG! Thanks to a co-operation agreement with ConceptLaser, we are the only beta testers in Switzerland and one of the very first suppliers of the new Invar material in Europe.
Application: In research and development, the low expansion at temperature differences is very interesting. Be it for joining glass and steel, or for very precise measuring systems such as in a 3D coordinate measuring machine, where temperature fluctuations must not cause any errors.
